Meatloaf

1.5 lbs ground beef or ground turkey
1 small can tomato sauce
1 egg
½ package of crackers (I prefer Ritz, but saltines are okay)
1 pkt. French Onion Soup Mix

Cooking Day: Set aside 1/3 of the can of tomato sauce. Mix all other ingredients together using hands to knead mixture. Place into loaf pan and shape to fit. Run fingers along the edge to slightly pull it away from the edge of the pan. Pour remaining tomato sauce over top.
Serving Day: Bake at 350 for 1hr- 1hr 15 min.


Optional Mix-ins:
Onion
Egg
Tomato soup
Worchershire
Ritz
Breadcrumbs
Celery
Green bell pepper
½ tsp Italian seasoning

Glaze

¼ c ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp dried mustard

When meatloaf is about done put on top and cook for 10 more minutes.
